About the VT PDRN Reedle Shot 100

Restore firmness, radiance, and youthful vitality with VT’s PDRN Reedle Shot 100, an advanced regenerative essence that combines innovative microneedle delivery technology with powerful plant-based actives to revitalise tired, dull, and inelastic skin. Designed to support skin renewal at a deeper level, this treatment helps improve elasticity, refine texture, and restore a healthy, luminous glow.

At the core of the formula is the brand’s signature Cica Reedle™ technology, featuring thousands of microsized microneedles that are 14 times smaller than pores. These ultra-fine reedles create microscopic pathways in the skin, allowing active ingredients to penetrate far more effectively while also gently exfoliating dead skin cells and impurities. This dual action not only enhances absorption but also smooths rough texture, refines pores, and promotes a clearer, more radiant complexion.

The hero ingredient is vegan PDRN derived from Korean Wild Ginseng grown near Jirisan Mountain, offering a cutting-edge, plant-based alternative to traditional animal-derived PDRN. With its low molecular weight and high stability, this advanced ingredient penetrates deeply to support skin regeneration, enhance collagen synthesis, and improve elasticity. It works at the cellular level to strengthen the skin’s structure, restore density, and promote natural repair, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines while improving overall firmness and resilience. By revitalising fatigued skin and boosting its natural healing processes, it helps bring back a healthier, more youthful appearance.

To further enhance results, the formula is enriched with 8 types of Hyaluronic Acid, which deliver multi-layered hydration to plump the skin from within and improve moisture retention. A Peptide complex helps strengthen and firm by supporting collagen and elastin, while Glutathione, a powerful antioxidant, brightens the complexion and improves radiance by helping to reduce dullness and uneven tone. Together, these ingredients create a comprehensive treatment that hydrates, firms, smooths, and brightens in one step.

The dense cream-ampoule texture melts smoothly into the skin, delivering a nourishing yet comfortable finish that instantly leaves the complexion looking plump, firm, and glowing. Clinically tested and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, it offers high-performance regenerative care without compromising comfort.

It’s Skin Cupid approved because…

…this innovative essence uses Cica Reedle™ microneedle technology and vegan Wild Ginseng PDRN to deeply stimulate skin regeneration, boost collagen, and enhance elasticity.

At a glance:

Suits all skin types, especially dull and mature skin
Softens fine lines and wrinkles and boosts skin elasticity
Brightens tone and rejuvenates dull, tired-looking skin thanks to plant-derived PDRN and Glutathione
Strengthens the skin barrier to protect against external aggressors and inhibit moisture loss

Ingredients in VT PDRN Reedle Shot 100

Vegan Ginseng PDRN (Sodium DNA): Commonly referred to as PDRN, Sodium DNA is a sodium salt of DNA, extracted here from Wild Ginseng grown in Korea, that encourages skin regeneration and elasticity by increasing cell proliferation in fibroblasts, which are responsible for skin collagen production. It also helps boost skin hydration levels and soothe inflammation.

Panax Ginseng Root Extract: This antioxidant-rich ingredient works wonders on skin, hydrating, improving uneven texture, and helping to fill in fine lines and wrinkles for a revitalised appearance.

8 Types of Hyaluronic Acid: Famous for its hydrating properties, Hyaluronic Acid pulls water from the air into your skin to keep it moisturised and looking dewy. These 8 different types of Hyaluronic Acid all possess different molecular sizes, which are absorbed into different layers of the skin for thorough, long-lasting hydration.

Glutathione: A natural detoxifier, Glutathione brightens the skin, reduces melanin production, and protects against damage.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8: A synthetic peptide made up of six amino acids and derived from botulinum toxin, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 works by inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters that stimulate facial muscle contractions, softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and also helps the skin to retain moisture.

Copper Tripeptide-1: A compound of Copper and three amino acids, Copper Tripeptide-1 supports skin’s integrity by sending reparative signals to key proteins in the skin’s extracellular matrix, helping to keep skin firm and youthful-looking. It also supports the skin’s collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production – smoothing fine lines and wrinkles – and soothes irritation.

Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4: This peptide, similar in structure to those that stimulate collagen production in the skin, reinforces the skin barrier and provides pore care.

FAQs about VT PDRN Reedle Shot 100

What does this do for your skin?

It focuses on intensive skin regeneration, working to improve firmness, texture, and radiance over time. The Cica Reedle microneedle system (tiny dissolvable needles that create micro-pathways on the skin's surface) boosts absorption of active ingredients, while vegan Wild Ginseng PDRN supports collagen production and repair. Main benefits include:

Improved elasticity and the appearance of fine lines
Refined texture and pores
Brighter, healthier-looking skin

How does the Cica Reedle™ technology work?

Cica Reedle™ is VT's patented take on at-home microneedling, built directly into the serum formula. The "reedles" are tiny microneedles (called spicules) made from purified hydrolysed sponge, coated in Cica, that sit in the top layer of skin and create microscopic channels. This does three things:

Speeds up skin regeneration
Gently exfoliates dead cells and congested pores
Boosts how well actives absorb into skin, so what you apply after works harder

A mild prickling sensation when you first use it is completely normal, and is just those micro-channels forming.

Is the PDRN vegan or is it salmon-derived?

It's vegan. Rather than the salmon-derived PDRN used in many formulas, VT uses Sodium DNA extracted from Korean Wild Ginseng grown near Jirisan Mountain. So it's a fully plant-based source, which makes it suitable for those avoiding animal-derived ingredients.

What does PDRN do for skin?

PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) is a DNA-derived ingredient that supports skin repair and renewal at a cellular level. It works by:

Activating receptors that speed up healing and skin regeneration
Encouraging collagen and elastin production to improve firmness and soften fine lines
Boosting moisture levels and strengthening the skin barrier
Calming irritation and sensitivity, including post-treatment skin

What can it do for dull, sagging skin?

It works on several fronts:

Brightness and tone: Glutathione and Niacinamide help with dullness and uneven skin tone.
Firmness: Vegan PDRN (derived from Korean Wild Ginseng) and peptides support collagen production, so skin feels bouncier and more lifted over time.
Texture: Cica Reedle™ microneedles gently exfoliate to refine pores and rough patches.
Hydration and plumpness: 8 types of Hyaluronic Acid plus Squalane deeply hydrate, reducing a crepey appearance.

Why does it have 8 different types of hyaluronic acid?

Each of the 8 types has a different molecular size, so they absorb at different depths rather than all sitting on the surface. Together they:

Draw moisture into the skin and lock it in
Hydrate both surface and deeper layers simultaneously
Give a plumper, dewier look over time
Support longer-lasting hydration rather than a short-lived effect

What does it feel like on skin?

It has a light gel-serum texture. You may notice a brief prickling sensation when you first apply it, thanks to the Cica Reedle spicules (tiny micro-needling fibres that help ingredients absorb deeper). This settles quickly, and it layers well under serums and creams without feeling heavy or sticky.

Can I use it under my eyes?

It's best to avoid the under-eye area. The formula uses micro-spicules (tiny plant-derived fibres that create a needling effect on the skin), which can be too intense for the delicate skin around the eyes. Stick to the rest of the face and steer clear of the lash line.
