About the BY WISHTREND Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream (30g)

Turn your skincare dreams into reality with BY WISHTREND’s Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream! This formula combines 10,000 ppm of Bakuchiol, a plant-derived ingredient that brightens the skin, with 300 ppm of Retinal, a faster-acting version of Retinol which tightens enlarged pores and smooths skin texture (as well as giving this cream its natural yellow colour). Together, these two Vitamin-A-rich powerhouses work to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.

The formula also features K-beauty mainstay Niacinamide, which helps even out skin tone to restore balanced and healthy-looking skin. Collagen delivers the proteins vital to rebuilding your skin barrier, while Ceramide NP provides the fatty acids, meaning that this cream works hard to restore your complexion’s health and vitality whilst you sleep peacefully. With the added benefits of hydrating superstar Hyaluronic Acid, your skin will stay lush and moisturised throughout the night, so that you can wake up to skin that both feels and looks refreshed and rejuvenated!

With a hypoallergenic formula, this gentle but powerful cream is suitable for all skin types (including sensitive skin!), and especially well-suited to those looking to address dryness, dullness, or premature signs of ageing.

It's Skin Cupid approved because…

… this cream is a fan favourite in Korea, taking first place in the Night Cream category at the 2023 Glowpick Awards.

Ingredients in BY WISHTREND Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream (30g)

Glycerin: A natural humectant, Glycerin softens, hydrates, and strengthens the skin barrier function.

Betaine: An amino acid derivative found naturally in the cells of sugar beets, Betaine balances the skin's natural moisture and oils for hydrated, younger-looking skin.

Niacinamide: A water-soluble vitamin, Niacinamide works with the natural substances of the skin to help even out skin tone, improve dullness, and bolster weakened skin barriers.

Adenosine: Adenosine encourages elastin and collagen production in the skin for increased firmness and elasticity.

Retinal: Another, more powerful form of Vitamin A, Retinal gives your skin all the same anti-ageing benefits as Retinol but works 11 times faster.

Bakuchiol: A vegan alternative to Retinol, antioxidant Bakuchiol helps to brighten dull skin, increase skin elasticity, and smooth fine lines by stimulating collagen production.

Hyaluronic Acid: Famous for its hydrating properties, Hyaluronic Acid pulls water from the air into the top layers of your skin to keep it moisturised and looking dewy.

Ceramide NP: A fatty acid found naturally in the skin, Ceramide NP helps to hold skin cells together in the outermost layer of your skin, preventing moisture loss and minimising visible damage from environmental stressors such as pollution.

Collagen: Collagen hydrates, increases skin elasticity, and slows the skin-ageing process, as well as encouraging the synthesis of collagen in the skin itself.

Centella Asiatica: A favourite ingredient in South Korean skincare, nutrient-rich Centella hydrates your skin, reduces the effects of sun damage, and repairs your skin’s protective barrier.

FAQs about BY WISHTREND Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream (30g)

What are the main active ingredients?

The cream combines several ingredients that support skin renewal and firmness overnight:

Bakuchiol (10,000 ppm): a plant-based retinol alternative that helps with fine lines, elasticity, and brightness
Retinal (300 ppm): a vitamin A derivative that works faster than retinol to refine texture, wrinkles, and pores
Niacinamide: evens skin tone and supports the moisture barrier
Adenosine: supports collagen and elastin production for firmer-looking skin
Collagen: helps with elasticity and plumpness
Ceramide NP: strengthens the barrier and reduces moisture loss

What does retinal do for texture and pores?

Retinal is a form of vitamin A that works by speeding up skin cell turnover and supporting collagen and elastin production. Over time, this helps with:

Smoother texture and a reduction in fine lines
Tighter-looking, less visible pores
Improved skin density overall

Results build gradually, so consistent use is where you'll see the difference.

Is it okay to use this in summer?

Yes, as long as you're careful with sun protection. Retinal (a vitamin A derivative) makes skin more sensitive to UV, so a few things to keep in mind:
