How to use ANUA BHA 2% Gentle Exfoliating Toner (150ml)

After cleansing, prepare skin for the rest of your routine by applying this toner.

Squeeze a small amount of product into your hands, or onto cotton pads.
If using your hands, pat the toner softly onto the skin on your face and neck. If using cotton pads, gently wipe your face with them.
Follow with the essence of your choice.

Because the ingredients in this product may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, we suggest you use it in the evening only. We don't advise incorporating this product if your skincare routine already includes actives such as Vitamin C, Retinol, AHAs, or BHAs.

Can I use this toner and azelaic acid in the same routine?

It's best to alternate rather than layer them, at least to begin with. A simple way to split them:

BHA toner nights (2-3 times a week): cleanse, BHA toner, hydrating serum, moisturiser.
Azelaic acid nights (2-4 alternate nights): cleanse, azelaic acid, moisturiser.

Once your skin has fully adjusted to both, some people do layer them, but alternating is the safer starting point.

Do I need to leave it on for a certain amount of time?

No set leave-on time needed. Apply it after cleansing, then carry straight on with the rest of your routine (essence, serum, moisturiser). It absorbs as you layer.

Use in the evening only.
Avoid mixing with other strong actives like vitamin C, retinol, or AHAs in the same routine.

Best toner I’ve used

This toner gives my skin a nice healthy shine all day without my skin becoming greasy, also use the serum and moisturiser so might be some team impact with all the products together but loving it my face was so dull for ages!

Good for sensitive skin

i have blackheads and sensitive skin. i used it twice and i can already see the results my skin's texture is improving and the blackheads are starting to disappear. i have a mild acne but i think thats because the pores are cleaning themselves, its not any major breakout and the skin feels so soft.
